A cooperative of people who don't give up.

We are cocoa farmers from Southern Bahia who chose to work together to give growers back the prospect of a good living.

An answer to the cocoa crisis

Coopercabruca was founded in response to the crisis that hit the farms when witches' broom disease reached the region.

Cocoa farmers are, above all, stubborn people who don't give up, even when the outlook is poor.

Like any cooperative we work together, but with a new idea: instead of selling only beans, our members make and sell high-quality, high-value cocoa products.

We want our products to be known and recognised for excellence in Brazil and around the world, and to change the way people see cocoa from Southern Bahia.

Adapted from a text by president Orlantildes Santos Pereira, 2019.

Mission
To supply cocoa and cocoa products that meet the world's highest quality standards, giving members access to technology and best practices for productive, sustainable farms.
Values
Respect for customers, with products of excellent standard certified by recognised bodies. Respect for the environment, with future generations in mind.
Goal
To deliver excellent products without losing sight of environmental protection and the training of our members.
