Grown under the forest. Made to compete with the world.

We are a cocoa farmers' cooperative in southern Bahia: about 50 farms growing cocoa in the shade of the Atlantic Forest, supplying beans, liquor, butter, powder and chocolate to manufacturers in Brazil and Europe.

Quotes published in the newspaper A Tarde, August 2025, translated from Portuguese.

Cocoa pods grow straight from the trunk.

The forest stays standing. Cocoa grows beneath it.

Cabruca is the traditional way of growing cocoa in Southern Bahia. Cocoa trees grow in the shade of native trees, without clearing the forest.

And we can prove it: since 2024, with the agritech company Dimitra, we monitor forest cover on our farms by satellite, with ground sensors where the canopy hides the cocoa. Farm-level data supports compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
